My first trip to Greece was to Athens, which was fantastic as the history & culture offered in this city featuring many of the great icons from Greek Mythology. However the second trip to the capital was not the same as the city seemed much smaller having seen a lot of the main attractions previously. None the less it offers great food, and the people are wonderful. Visiting the island of Crete, it is even more relaxed and people are more in tune with enjoying stress free life outside of the capitals hustle. Overall Greece has so much to offer in terms of beautiful islands, friendly people, and good culinary experiences.
